It's as if the caffeine were somehow experiencing personality identity disorder. Not possible says reality and yet the chemistry inside me feels insanely motivated. And not coffee motivated. I ponder efficiency in life and buying an electric car. I reflect on the conception of the USPTO and Bayh-dole and greed. It could be the rain, the jazz, the smell of earthworms. If you know me at all, you know I am bizarrely keen to scents. Ludicrous you might even say.
Always my favorite authors want to use mutually exclusive in their books. Is it a difficult concept? Fun to write about? Or simply relevant? I'm not sure. I tend to want to use the mobius strip in all of my writing. For no apparent reason either.
I am currently breaking from my highly desirable and exciting life in patent mining to read "No one belongs here more than you" by Miranda July. WOW. Childlike in her simplicity but nowhere near childlike in shock value. Unexpected.
It must be said that my favorite authors are those that challenge me, in one way or another. In this case it's the unabashed perverse that gets me every time. And I like it.
My Noble heroes for today are Jacob and Monod. From gunpowder factories to penicillin production, atheistic views, parachute drops, interception of mail to, well of course gene expression regulation, these guys are worth a looksie!
